Ping G5 Driver - You’ll have a blast with this golf driver!
The Ping G5 is one of the best performing drivers on the market today. The 460cc Head size features improved internal weight placement that gives the Ping G5 driver a greater moment of inertia for more stability, forgiveness and control. In the Ping G5 Driver the material removed from low stress areas in the crown is repositioned in the sole, lowering the GC for reduced spin and increased distance. However, Ping has not added anything too fancy such as movable weights or a carbon crown or anything like that. The club face is robotic welded and weight is placed low and deep in the driver for a higher trajectory and maximum distance. The Ping G5 picks up right where the Ping G2 left off from. The driver is very long. However, it is not only long, but accurate. The 460cc club head sounds large, but the engineers at Ping made the large club head seem somewhat small compared to other 460cc drivers. The Ping G5 is a really a very forgiving golf driver that will give ample distance and workability that the majority of players need from their clubs.
